How does Laser hair removal work?

Laser light is selectively absorbed by melanin, the pigment in the hair follicle. The light energy heats the pigment and effectively destroys the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding cells. It is a pain less treamtent.

Treatment Procedure?

On the day of your treatment you will attend with the area product free and fully shaved, so that the laser light can penetrate deep into the hair follicle with no barriers, a laser gel will then be applied and the treatment will be performed.
The Laser light is aimed at the body area to be treated and a short pulse of light is released, which targets many follicles at the same time. The Laser is then moved to the adjacent area of skin and the process is repeated until the entire area is treated.

Is laser hair removal safe?

Our laser hair removal system is clinically proven to be both safe and effective. With over 10 years of experience, we have been running our clinic with word of mouth recommendations, which gives us certainty that our treatments are safe and effective.

What does laser treatment feel like?

Our 3 wavelength laser specially designed to remove unwanted hair faster, more comfortably, and with fewer visits than ever before. It gradually heats the hair follicle whilst the handpiece is passed over the same area constantly. Our cold tip technology delivers contact cooling up to -4 degrees. A virtually painless procedure, you feel the cooling head on your skin which acts to numb the area.

Are there any side effects of laser hair removal treatment?

The skin can appear slightly red after treatment and the hair follicles which have been treated may appear raised or bumpy for up to 48 hours. Itching can occur in some individuals several days after treatment which tends to be mild and subside. Other side effects are rare.

How many treatments are required?

Treatment procedure is every 4 weeks on the face and 6 weeks on the body. The required number of treatments differs from patient to patient, generally 8 sessions are needed for optimum results.

*Results may vary from person to person.
