What is the vitamin c facial?
The vitamin c facial is a luxurious brightening, antioxidant treatment. The treatment starts by cleansing and exfoliating of the skin using our Medik8 range of products to suit each individuals skin type, followed by a blend of vitamin c oils to massage the décolletage and face muscles. We then apply our vitamin c vegetable mask and leave it on to set for 15 minutes, whilst the mask is on a mini head massage is performed. To finish off we apply a range of anti – ageing serums and creams.

Dermapen
Would you like to improve the appearance of deep lines and wrinkles? Shrink open pores or improve the pitted appearance of acne scars? Dermapen facial treatment can do this whilst also giving the skin a rejuvenated, plumped,fresh appearance.
What is Dermapen?
Dermapen is suitable for use on the face and body, for both male and female clients – including those who wish to treat stretch marks,scars or loose skin.
Dermapen is the industry leading microneeding device, it is a skin repair treatment that can help to significantly improve the appearance of ageing or scarred skin. It uses tiny needles attached to a pen device to gently puncture the skin causing a series of traumatic punctures on the skin. The result of this is that the skin responds to this by naturally producing collagen and elastin to repair itself. The production of collagen and elastin work to smooth and firm the skin, plumping out deep lines and improving the indented or red appearance of scars and stretch marks.

How does Dermapen work and how many sessions are required?
The process of having Dermapen at Belvoir aesthetics skin clinics will involve an initial face to face consultation with one of our expertly trained Skin Specialists, who will assess your skin and will be able to advise how many Dermapen sessions you will need to achieve your skin goals.
(usually, this is between 6-8 treatments).
Dermapen is an effective treatment for the following concerns;

Is the treatment painful?
There can be some slight discomfort. However in deeper depth microneedling treatments the physician may use a topical anaesthetic to reduce any discomfort.
Downtime:
Dermapen is less invasive than many alternative solutions and you can normally return to your daily activities straight away after treatment, although you may have some mild redness or swelling which can last up to 48 hours, but in most cases subsides within a couple of hours.
Aftercare
Avoid extreme temperatures (hot baths/showers, saunas, steam rooms etc and unnecessary contact with the treated area for 48 hours, no make up other than mineral make up for 12 hours. SPF is required and your skin specialist will advise you on post treatment creams.
